Bria Holmes scored 27 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, and Andreana Thomas added 26 points as No. 4 Hillhouse won its third straight Class L title with a 77-50 victory over No. 2 E.O. Smith Saturday at the Mohegan Sun Arena.

The Academics forced 29 turnovers and ended the game on a 14-0 run. Hillhouse coasted through the Class L field, winning their four games by an average of 27 points.

Maggie Sundberg had 16 points and Taylor Vonasek added 14 points for E.O. Smith.
