No. 16 Sacred Heart Academy knocks No. 17 Newtown out of Class LL tournament in first round.

No. 16 Sacred Heart Academy 33, No. 17 Newtown 28: Micaela Montini scored eight points to pace the Pacers over the Nighthawks at the half.

Newtown erased a 22-14 first quarter deficit with a 24-11 second quarter outburst.

The bracket: Bacon Academy earns top spot in upcoming Class L tourney.

The bracket: Cromwell looks to run through Class as top seed.
