Lauralton Hall is expected to name Alessa Podolak-Laczkoski its new girls' basketball coach.

Podolak-Laczkoski said Monday she has been offered the position and filled out the paperwork, so it's all but official.

The Trumbull native spent the past four seasons as an assistant at the University of Bridgeport and two seasons before that as an assistant at Trumbull.
