COURT VISION UPDATE: Top players in the state




#ctgb – The girls’ high school basketball season gets going on Dec. 5. So to get prepared for the start of another exciting season of girls’ hoops, let’s take a look at the top players in the state until we get down to opening night.  Coaches can add players to the list when it is complete on Dec. 5 by emailing me at hchisholm@nhregister.com.

PLAYER: Missy Bailey
SCHOOL: Cheshire High School, Cheshire
YEAR: junior
POSITION: Point guard
HEIGHT: 5-foot-6
AAU TEAM:CT Starters
SCHOOLS INTERESTED: Adelphi, U of New Haven, Plymouth State, Southern New Hampshire, Assumption
HER SHORTLIST: Not complete
SCHOOLS OFFERED: None
STATS: She was All Southern Connecticut conference Housatonic in 2011 and 2012. Last season she averaged 12 ppg and 4 apg.

NEW HAVEN REGISTER: Bailey scored a game-high 17 points to lead the Rams during the SCC tournament. 

NEW HAVEN REGISTER: Bailey helped Cheshire win Team of the Week. 
NEW HAVEN REGISTER: Bailey’s game-high 16 points led the Rams over Ridgefield in state play when she was just a sophomore. 
REPUBLICAN AMERICAN: Bailey was named Republican American Athlete of the Week this past February.  
CHESHIRE HERALD: Bailey was named Athlete of the Week yet again.
