Hamden Hall senior Ellen Rich pulled down the 1,000th rebound of her career tonight. She finished the game 17 points, 17 rebounds and three blocks. She became the first girl in school history to reach the milestone.

However, the Hornets fell 44-42 to King. St. John's-bound Brianna Brown hit a game-winning runner in the lane with 7 seconds left for King. She finished with a game-high 25 points.
