#ctgb -- We head to Hartford to check out a rising star in Weaver's Alyssa Stewart. The forward/center is definitely a player to watch in 2013.

#ctgb – Let’s continue to look at some of the top players in the state of Connecticut as we prepare for Opening Tip on Dec. 5. Today, we travel to Glastonbury for a look at a guard who will be Boston-bound very soon.

#ctgb – The girls’ high school basketball season gets going on Dec. 5. So to get prepared for the start of another exciting season of girls’ hoops, let’s take a look at the top players in the state until we get down to opening night.  Coaches can add players to the list when it is complete on Dec. 5 by emailing me at hchisholm@nhregister.com.

NEW HAVEN REGISTER: Bailey scored a game-high 17 points to lead the Rams during the SCC tournament. 

NEW HAVEN REGISTER: Bailey helped Cheshire win Team of the Week. 
NEW HAVEN REGISTER: Bailey’s game-high 16 points led the Rams over Ridgefield in state play when she was just a sophomore. 
REPUBLICAN AMERICAN: Bailey was named Republican American Athlete of the Week this past February.  
CHESHIRE HERALD: Bailey was named Athlete of the Week yet again.
