Looking to snap its 36-game losing streak, Hyde fell to Westbrook Monday night 34-26. The Howling Wolves led Westbrook 22-20 entering the final quarter. Westbrook rallied though, outscoring Hyde 14-4 in the fourth.

It’s been a while. To be exact, 724 days. That’s the last time Hyde won.

The Howling Wolves defeated Hale-Ray 28-22 on Jan. 17, 2008. And today, they could potentially snap a 36-game losing streak.

The Howling Wolves will play host to Westbrook at 6:30 p.m., a team that edged Hyde 35-34 last month. The Howling Wolves came back from a 12-point deficit with under 5 minutes left in the last meeting.

“We’re definitely looking forward to the rematch,” Hyde first-year coach Tracy Claxton said. “They’re working hard. They’re excited. We’re ready for them.”
